As per their website - definition of eUpgrade connections. Really don't understand the difference between their two examples:
Flight connections
When requesting an upgrade for an entire one-way itinerary, connections will be calculated as follows:
A connection between two flights wholly within Canada and the United States may last up to 10 hours, even when traveling on an international itinerary.
A connection between a flight within Canada & the United States and a flight beyond Canada & the United States may last up to 24 hours.
When with agent on phone,I was on last flight possible ex YSB to connect legally to YVR and the first connection to LAS was the next morning. Made 2 separate requests for 2 different dates with 2 different agents and secured and received the flights as noted.I believe the connection is 12.5 hours at YVR
