I suggest OP look at the Aegean Miles&Bonus program.
As Absolute said, Aegean clearly states that you can collect miles, even if you haven't signed up yet at the date of the transaction.
Considering the OP just started flying, it makes way more sense anyways to collect to A3, to get *G (I am assuming the flights taken weren't long-hauls, thus preventing OP from collecting a lot of miles to make *G in another program).
