If it's anything like what I experience on HNL->SEA flights on AS metal, as soon as you get near the Continental United States (around 100 miles from the Washington/Oregon Coast), Gogo will kick in but hopefully someone can chime in on your specific leg.

Edit/Update: Stolen from VX's website which I would assume is applicable to AS Gogo equipment:
