I often need to check bags on UA. Because of the relatively few (thankfully) times that the bags did not arrive on the same flight as me, I typically go straight to one of the kiosks in baggage claim to check the status of my bags. Yesterday at SFO, all of the kiosks were closed. I asked an agent who said they were being phased out. If they remove all of the kiosks, is there any way to check the status of checked bags without either asking one of agents at baggage claim or the old-fashioned way (just wait for all the bags)?
