I really want to fly the 787. I have the option of flying the 787 from via IAH to LHR in early March or directly from my home airport to LHR via a 777, which would give me an extra day in London. I have no idea when I would have the opportunity to fly the 787 next, probably in a year or two?

My question is, is it worth it to schedule my trip just around this plane? Also, how reliable will it be in March? I'd hate to schedule my trip around flying the 787 and for there to be a last minute change of aircraft or massive flight delay.
