Domestic "O" class fares on AA earn full EQMs and RDMs when credited to AS Mileage Plan. AS doesn't list "O" as an eligible fare class on AA due to "O" class flights between North America and Central/South America not earning miles as such a distinction may confuse passengers who'd read that "O" is a mileage earning fare class. I've flown in AA's "O" class several times this year and earned full EQMs and RDMs.
Thanks, I couldn't figure out why "O" was listed like that. I would think it would be simpler to just list "O" with an asterisk next to it signifying they were in eligible on certain flights in the footnotes.
