For flights in Coach between SFO and either LAX or SEA, it's tough to beat BA Avios. SFO/SJC-LAX on AA is 4,500 BA Avios one way; SFO/SJC/OAK-SEA on AS is 7,500 BA Avios one way. Of course, low-tier ("Saver") award seats would have to be available on your desired flights.

BA Avios can be earned with the Chase/BA Visa card, the Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa card, and the Amex SPG card. The two Chase cards (currently) have better sign-up bonuses than the Amex SPG card.
