If a pilot thinks it's better to go back because flight can't be 100% safe, I prefer to delay few hours rather then find myself in a scenario I wish I'll never experience.

I guess when a thread is entitled the BA Compensation Thread, you are going to get a certain amount of "looter" traffic in here.

Have you read my previous posts? I suspect not. My argument is that other passengers on the same flight have been paid the compensation and yet for reasons unknown to me I haven't. Surely even you cannot possibly argue that this smatters of double standards? If BA deem it suitable situation to compensate one passenger under EU261, they cannot turn around and call it extraordinary circumstances to another and refuse to pay.
