Just FYI, technically according to HACCP:
Cut fruit must be consume within 7 days if held at 41ºF or below.
But of course they need to indicate the date the fruit was cut to ensure it is consumed within the 7 day (which they either didn't do, or did below bowl).

Technicalities aside, an establishment of this level (pricing and status) should not be adopting such a practice on one hand. On the other hand, I am not surprised at this practice given the McD hash brown. Really reeks of being a cheap-a** hotel.

I have not tried the french kitchen, but the lounge breakfast on the weekends are quite decent to me.

But one thing I notice is that they serve the runny scrambled eggs, that many find revolting, at all 3 Tokyo properties (HRT, GHT, & PHT).
