Accidents happen, thats life!

As others have mentioned not sure how this is a comparison in any way between BA & CX until the Op has the misfortune to get glassed on a BA flight! THing is with all the planes these airlines fly there are going to be times when a glass gets smashed and someone is unfortunate to get cut by it! Could the CX crew do more, they apologised, cleared it up best they could so not really no! Who knows if a complaint to CX will get any compensation as that is at the end of the day the only thing more that they coudl do weather it be miles, money or something else!

What I will say to me an incident like this is far less serious or in need of "compensation" as something like running out of food or drink on a service or other things that are in an airlines control, this very much comes under the "it happens" banner!
