Will you have a car? If not, you may want to stay Downtown at Hermitage, as the Hutton is up West End towards Vandy.
I spent 6 weeks in Nashville this summer for work, and can pass along a ton of recs for food and drink if you're interested ... it's sort of our thing, my wife and I, and we usually run the gamut from cheap to high end (e.g. in Nashville would be Catbird Seat)
