From what I have seen lately if you have an AMEX card you are not eligible for another Amex bonus.

I have a HH Amex and a Delta Amex Business Card.

When I go to apply for any AMEX car it says that the offer is not available to existing Amex cardholders.

If you are identified as a current American Express® Card Member, you may not be eligible for this welcome bonus offer. This offer is also not available to applicants who have had this product within the last 12 months".

"You have been identified as a current American Express Cardmember. You may have seen an offer advertised for this product previously, but the offer is not available to current American Express Cardmembers. "


This happened on an AMEX Gold and SPG card.

That being said I would take the higher bonus or maybe apply for both cards the same day
