Hi guys,

Not too familiar with LHR so was hoping for some recent experience/guidance.

3 of us will arrive in T3, 2 will continue on in T3 and 1 will have to go to T5.

Is there anyway to stay together? as the T5 flight leaves 3 hours after T3 flights. and we already have a 3.5 hr lay over.

Going through flight connections, will BP definitely be checked? and is conformance in place for flight connections? I dont actually know if the "normal security gate" between land side and air side is the same as the flight connections security gate. I would have thought it was separate.

Also if by some miracle, the T5 passenger can get into T3, I heard there is an airside T3-T5 bus. That would save a lot of time. But is that possible from T3 airside departure lounge or it has to be through flight connections, and not actually go into T3 departure lounge?

Just wondering if anyone has been through T3-T3 flight connections lately and can share their experience.
