The only winners I see in any legal action will be the lawyers. Hyatt's not going to honor lifetime Diamond. Even if they were 'forced' to honor it, I can almost guarantee that Chase will cancel the credit cards within a couple of years. And Chase can unilaterally cancel your credit card at any time without legal repercussions.

There were TONS of credit cards and lines of credit cancelled in 2009 by the banks so cancelling credit cards isn't virgin territory for Chase.
