I just noticed on EF that EC seats 10C and 10G on DL 264 / 265 are blocked on my upcoming flights.

I checked with DL why they are blocked and I was told that they are airport blocked and reserved for disabled PAX.
I can understand that and sure don't have a problem with that.

I asked them what is going to happen to that seat if no diabled PAX needs that seat. DL's answer is that the GA will release that seat prior to departure but they can't tell me when and how. All they say is that it's at the GA's discretion...

Does anyone know if that seats goes to any random person who may or may not have purchased an EC seat or if you can put your name down for it ?
