First time poster here, so be gentle :-). Not sure if this is the right forum to post this question.

I am traveling to China in a week. I found out that BOA debit cards can be used at China Construction Bank ATMs without incurring transection fees, so I went to my local BOA branch to order a new debit card. My old one was lost, but because I rarely use my BOA checking account, I never bothered to get a new one.

At the local branch I was issued a temporary ATM card without a VISA/MASTERCARD logo and without my name printed on it. The bank teller helping me said the card should be usable at ATMs in China, but he wasn't entirely sure. So I wonder if anyone has experience using a BOA temporary ATM card in a foreign country.
