I suppose that if it's solid when you take it across the checkpoint, it's all good. I did ask the TSA guy in PHX about Jello, and he said that I could carry the jello packets across the checkpoint, and prepare it airside, but I couldn't bring it prepared.

I've also wanted to take a non-newtonian fluid through the checkpoint, since it *can* be a solid.
