I asked in LAX if I could check a bag LAX-BOS on Friday through to BOS-VCE on Saturday. The stopover was about 13 hours. The person standing in front of the Premier kiosks at LAX T6 and directing passengers told me I couldn't both because it was overnight and because it was domestic to international. There were no agents available to talk to until after I checked in and one came over to put the tag on my bag.

I suppose it's a good thing I didn't try to find an agent that would push it through, as this was less than 30 minutes before the shooting at T3, and I'm not sure I would have made it to my flight. I know they shut down T3, not sure if they were letting anyone else through other checkpoints after that.
