This past year my wife and I went to Rio de Janeiro and stayed at the JW Marriott where there were drinks every evening, great food, and of course I don't need to tell you about Copacabana Beach!!! We also stayed earlier this year at a Hilton in Milan that had the same thing -- without the beach -- but lovely wines and food!!
I lose my Gold status after this year (i think they give you until end of February if I'm not mistaken) and was looking for a beach vacation trip to look into for January/February and having snacks and alcohol included -- it saves a bunch of money!
Can Anyone comment and give us some ideas!?!?

Not sure what flights would be like for you but the Hilton Hua Hin in Thailand has a very good lounge with a 3 hour evening drinks and hot canapés. The drinks are waiter service but we found they would frequently approach us halfway through our drinks to ask if we wanted further drinks. There was a short but reasonable cocktail menu alongside usual beers, wines and spirit options. Hotel has a very large nice swimming pool area and is adjacent to the beach.
