Sorry for the confusion - it was unclear to me if they are still in the process of "le meridien-ifying" the hotel. There were tons of what looked like furniture in the self-parking lot, but that could have been for an event or some new furniture that was being installed in the rooms.
I stay every year for work in November - the rooms have been renovated with new decor from 2 years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember if they were in the process of renovating the hotel last year to this decor or if this is yet again a new setup since the le meridien takeover a few months ago. The furniture, draperies and wallpaper are new from 2 years ago, and could be newer than that. Maybe a more frequent guest knows.
The beds are now definitely not the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper, but a softer, still comfy bed with slightly different bedding that includes both foam and feather pillows.
They are definitely re-doing the hotel's internet infrastructure as we had significant problems connecting and were finally told this would not be fixed until the end of November.
