Standard at IAH now

At IAH all 15 machines are in a semi-roped off area on the south-end (UNITED entry from E) side of the arrivals hall. You then must pass a desk for verification. My last few trips there were two officers there helping review and it was fast though I have heard stories of only one. Each time I've passed they just compare receipt to passport and let you go. If you have no checked bags you just skip the customs exit and get to leave which is nice (similar to the crew lines and "one-stop" system at IAH)
