I would guess it would be the same as the amount to fly to Sydney? As to whether there would actually be any redemption availability, that is a different question entirely.

I wouldn't mind a direct flight, but having to change does mean an increase in tier points earned for the flight... and it is quite nice to have a stopover somewhere. But it would be good to at least have the option.
