Thank you, I did use the search but I did not find any post regarding this on the first 3 pages.

The only difference this time is I used my Citi Visa instead of my Citi Amex, in both cases the originating flight was in the US. I can assume now that BA will use a different company to process the payment if you pay with Visa vs Amex?
