Milford was topped off. Kepler's Luxemore was quiet but closed over the top. Routebourn was pretty full. These are Great Walks and quite popular.

For those going against the grain by avoiding NZ consumer tourism, a DOC annual hut pass can be had for 90NZD and is good all all track huts except GW's in season. Pretty good deal!

I'm headed north on the wast coast road ^^^^. Considering the Heaphy and Tasman.

Glad this isn't CO or CA....as it would certainly be trashed by nouveau riche.
