Nice report, enjoying it well so far!

Always nice to see TK deliver a good experience. Seeing the lounge empty, you kind of realize how nice the place really is. When empty I suppose it could easily go as the best Business Class lounge in the *A network.

The new tableware and dining concept look simply stunning. Wasn't a big fan of the old setup, since the linen used was too large for the tray, making the bowls slide around. Stemless Champagne flutes look elegant and modern as well. The candlelight was perhaps the coolest "innovation" though, I'm a little concerned about what happens during turbulence and those candles fall over and catch fire. Do they have any form of safety mechanism to prevent this from happening?

My next TK flight is in a few weeks, though just a simple AMS-IST Y return, but it'll be interesting to see if any improvements have been done to the catering concept there. I am however a little tempted to redeem my miles for a TK biz award, as part of a RTW trip. Just waiting for the next LifeMiles sale
