BA experts, your counsel would be greatly appreciated:

I have an upcoming flight on BA268 (in F) from LAX, on a 388 and it's scheduled to arrive at 2:55pm into LHR.

I am connecting to a flight from LHR to AMS, departing at 4:30pm.

According to LHR guidelines for transfers, I'm giving myself enough time. But when I look at flight aware it seems the A380 coming from LAX has been consistently late.

Perhaps I'm incorrect in my research (which is where I'd love some affirmation as well!) but... If I'm correct, what would you do? Stay on the 4:30pm flight to AMS and hope for the best, or pay the change fee now and change to the 5:55pm flight?
