Interested to see if Delta jumps on this. LHR O&D and the VS JV are a big focus for them at the moment. They'd likely use Delta metal over Virgin metal as there's more flexibility in a/c size (probably either 757 or 767). DL already flies a seasonal PHL-CDG for Air France with a 757. That basically leaves DFW and IAH as the only major O&D cities not served non-stop by Delta/Virgin.
Can't see United being interested as they do very little international flying outside of their own hubs, and it arguably competes with their EWR flying. Who else is there?
Does the PHL-LHR have to be served non-stop or could it simply be an add-on like PHL-ATL-LHR?
