Hi everyone,

I'm booked up to end the year at around 87,500 miles and have two possible reasons in favor of shooting for 1K:

- I'm relatively close (closer than I've ever been - I only earned Silver for the first time last year), and who knows if I'll make the PQD requirement in the future (I'll make the credit card requirement to get up to Platinum, though)
- There's a chance that the GPUs and extra RPUs over Platinum could really, really come in handy next year - I'm thinking of the MR price in $/GPU for this

So it comes down to whether or not it makes sense to MR the rest of the miles. One possibility that I found for about $660 is LGA-IAH-LAX-SFO-JFK (including a 787 flight!), which would allow a nice two day break in HNL and yields 10,335 PQM. While that's not the best cpm, it does mean a weekend on the beach. The last 1K-2K PQM would come from an NYC-ORD RT and/or, at worst, a PQM purchase.

Any thoughts or suggestions of other MR destinations that I should consider? I've been frequenting The Flight Deal and the MR forum the last few days, and IST might be the only other destination that has come up (though the price on my dates is higher).

My ideal travel dates for this would be one of the first two weekends in December.
