The MEL QF T1 Qantas Club was built on top of the existing terminal maybe 15 years ago.

Before that, it was at the 'pimple' between gates 1 and "3" (5).

The VA lounge uses the area that was once the Golden Wing - I'm sure if AN had survived there would have been a bigger T3 lounge many years ago.
