The Lounge works should be done within the coming months (expected to be done soon), the new extensions will make the lounge at least twice as big compared to the current lounge, I believe the new lounge will upgrade it with "Flagship" status like the SYD lounge and will be 2 levels (however don't quote me on that! as I'm not sure myself). I'm not sure why they didn't have the extensions considered from the beginning, the QF lounge at T1 is gigantic in comparison.

Also down at Pier B, works will start soon on the new T4 where they will connect together with a completely new T4 Pier.

Since we are on the topic of MEL, new plans will be revealed soon in the next phrase of expansion for T2, EY will also be announcing their own lounge at MEL and I hope MH, CX & UA get their act together and start renovating their own lounges at MEL!
