What is your Priority Club status?
Royal Ambassador

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booken one standard room and one king deluxe ocean view suite. Received club room and king deluxe ocean view suite.

How are the rooms?
King club room was huge with separate living room, small kitchen, huge bedroom and with a nice view over the Caribbean.

the ocean view suite was also nice, but no separate living room and bedroom, but it had a balcony with a nice view and the huge bathroom also had a bath tub.

Ive read various stories about the quality of the rooms at this resort and that some appears to be worn out (yes, the resort isn't exactly new, and when we arrived there was this funny moldy smell inside the hotel), but the premier rooms appears to be newly refurbished and are quite nice.

How is the exec. lounge?
its ok. Breakfast had all the basics, and plus for the chef doing eggs various style, bacon and sausages. The selection of wines and liquors is a bit sparse during the evening, and they tend to run out of both red and white wine a while before they close. No sparkling/champagne.

Did you receive a welcome gift?
No, however both rooms received a bottle of anise liquore as a souvenir the night before we left.

Did you receive fruit in the room?
The suite received a small plate with some random things i can't remember.

How was the minibar?
It was "ok". Basic spirits, beers and snacks. No wine, and thats kind of a disappointment to me as i am more of a wine drinker.

What were the bathroom amenities?
the "standard" good ones as you would get in most IC`s.

What was good and what was bad?

Good;

- nice upgrade for the standard room booked
- AMAZING beach

Bad;

- the funny moldy smell inside the hotel, but somehow i guess this is hard to avoid in a tropical area that receives so much rain?
- Lobby area and exterior appears outdated
- no wine in the minibar
- no restocking of minibar for two days. Had to call front desk to have it done the 3rd day

Value for $ or Priority Club Points?
Yes. Considering the rates we paid it absolutely weighs up for my "bads" at this property. And the beach is really great!

Would you return?
Yes.
