What about the explosives in the water? I always thought that was one of the setbacks to this whole thing. Personally, I think it's obvious this is the way to go. However, with Conservatives and Labour trying to pretend that they 1) love all of the non-London parts of the UK, and 2)never spend money (unless it is on trying to prove 1, as in HS2), I don't see this in the political strategies of either party in the foreseeable future. But I really would love to be wrong.
