Did the Milford next with four minute heli over the pass due to avalanche danger.

Just got off the Routeburn which was my favorite. Did the complete hike and had driving light rain over the saddle. Thoroughly enjoyed it and got some great shots. My G12 briefly fogged afterward, but recovered.

These tramps are national treasures and well attended for good reason.

Did routebourn several years ago for a special birthday. Had great weather. It only rained one night and was dry by morning. It is one of highlights of many years of traveling. National treasures, absolutely.
