Confused about whether this is considered "nested" or not

I have some confusion over a booking I want to make for next year--whether AA will see it as nested, back to back or a double booking or whether they can "see" it at all.
Wednesday Sept 24 Fly BOS to LAX
Thursday Sept 25 fly LAX to ITO (connecting via HNL to a flight operated by Hawaiian Air),
Saturday Oct 4 HNL to BOS
All on one PNR but leaving out the ITO to HNL flight (Sun Sept 28) which I would book later on a separate PNR directly through Hawaiian Air since I won't know until closer to the time which inter-island flight time I need.
My question is--since AA and HA are partners, will AA see this separate HA booking and think I'm trying to subvert some rule and cancel my flights?
Thanks
