I doubt it will count in-store purchases based on the way my transaction at the pump posted. Amex seems to have all the detail:

The only thing inaccurate in the detail is I got 8.x gallons to hit the $25 threshold. Credit has posted already, so it didn't affect anything. Has anyone hit the second credit yet? I'm just wondering if the future credits will post automatically since the offer now shows "Redeemed" like any of the one-time offers.
