I still don't think those carriers offer a luxury product in J. None of those carriers are at the luxury level, particularly on food and drink in J.

I think the "business class" you're talking about is really premium eco: pay $500 more, get enough elbow room to work on your laptop and enough legroom to continue working on said laptop without risking DVT.
I'll take any frills they are willing to throw at me. My employer may have a different opinion, though. If I have a choice between carrier A and carrier B, it isn't going to matter how much nicer the booze is in carrier B's lounge if they are charging $50 more. And, frankly, it doesn't matter that much to me. Hard product? Sure - I want a good night's sleep. But worrying about the presence of croissants or finger sandwiches in a lounge? Just not a differentiation point for me.
