Well you could well be right (which would be good) although reading the T&Cs I still have my doubts. I guess a phone call prior to putting in an application should clarify things - or maybe best keep quiet rather than give them the chance to say no ....!!?

All that said, it can eventually become tricky to keep meeting the minimum spend/period requirements for various bonuses when you already have a number of cards on the go ; not helped by the fact that Amex has limited acceptability within the UK (albeit much better than it used to be).

Plus, with most 'regular' commitments covered by direct debit bank payments these days, you really need to have a few 'big ticket' item purchases - or to be travelling, when hotels + other costs can of course quickly rack up.
