Star Alliance awards are very flexible. The furthest point from the origin (NRT in this case) is the destination, 1 free stopover and 1 open jaw.

The point I'm trying to tell everyone is: There is SOMETHING WRONG with KrisFlyer system when calculating the miles required for Star Alliance awards!! They take the first flight as the destination hence if you go further, they also ignore!! My furthest point in this case is NRT, should be 80,000 miles!!

Quick!! Do a dummy booking with KrisFlyer now before it gets rectified!!

I done another dummy booking with KrisFlyer and this time involves a First Class flight on TG A380 from NRT-BKK.

SIN-TPE-CTS-NRT-BKK-SIN on BR J, NH Y, TG F and TF J. Guess how many miles I was quoted? 60,000 miles!! Taxes S$578.60. OMG!! It should be 120,000 miles!!!
