Thanks for getting rid of it, as it shows a tremendous lack of respect for your users. It's the worst of the worst and an incredibly outdated way of generating dollars.

I run an ad supported web site myself, so I don't mean to minimize the need to raise revenue. This is just the wrong way to do it.
