Thanks to everyone for your responses. And let me emphasize.. this whole ordeal with my mother goes well beyond some frequent flier miles. If it was just that, I would probably go up to the boyfriend's new apartment, leave a flaming bag of dog crap at his door, and then be done with it. But there is so much more to this story that I'd rather not get into. My mother already has a suit against him to recover money, so the issue here is less about recovering the miles and more about using this as evidence to prove fraudulent activity.

And KenInEscazu.. I can only imagine what you went through. Trust me though, if you knew the extent of what this guy did to my mother, you wouldn't trade places with her for all the miles in the world!
