Well, when facing the competition of both the TGV and AF on Paris-Marseille, it was U2 who actually retreated. It is also noteworthy that while still AF flies from ORY to BOD, SXB and LYS, where they compete directly with the TGV, U2 has chosen not to operate these routes.
