Indeed. I was in Gangnam waiting for the airport bus (~$15) and a cabbie approached an impatient couple and they took the cab. The bus emerged 1 minute late.
$200 for a 60 km cab ride is nearly 3X the US price. Actually it's about 75 km to Tokyo station if you take the Bayshore route.
In the States you pay ~$2 a mile plus the meter drop.
