I have used it on LH on a 747-8 for LAX-FRA. I lost connection a few times when I was over Northern Canada, especially when we crossed over in to the Atlantic. It came back on pretty quick though. I found it plenty good for my use and fast enough...you wouldn't be able to download any major files that quickly but YouTube videos were working just fine.
