I just checked in. I reserved a Diamond Head View room, thinking to would overlook the beach and waterfront. It is actually on the south side, unlike their web site shows, with Diamond Head visible at the extreme left jutting out from the hotel.

Anyways, for such an expensive room, I am a bit shocked. NO desk - just a wide table between the two beds. A stool to sit on, no back even. No dresser even, fortunately I am used to living out of my suitcase. Beds also only have a comforter on them, nothing else.

Is this the standard, or did I just end up with a fluke. If it is normally better I will request another room, but the tie-up at the front desk is so long I dont want to go through that if I will just get the same thing.
