Keep in mind racing to immigration so you can then wait 30 minutes plus 10 minutes more for getting there early for luggage is not a great investment.
Save the extra money.
Ten minutes walk is a half mile (at my pace)....really depends upon which gate you get and how much carry-on luggage you have.
And I'd rather spend the time in the baggage claim area - getting THB or walking around a bit than I would standing in line at immigration.
I've always used BFS to great success. YMMV.
