Very good point, and I definitely checked during my last trip a couple weeks ago. Our Chase cards have no foreign transaction fees, and the exchange rate in Europe for Euro-based purchases was right in line with daily rates quoted on investment sites. Not sure about my Amex Platinum, though. Would like to see what others say.
