I was departing DPS and in the walk to and from the far-out gate of the new international terminal where my flight was boarding (I think it was something like gate 1c), I noticed a body scanner. Nobody was using it and the room in which it was present looked like it was being remodeled (although no work was being done at the time). Does this mean that they are going to start using body scanners at this airport? This was far away from the security checkpoint. This brought about concerns and I could not figure out how to learn more about this.
