Ahhh there are two stories going around on this by the sound of it. I was told that they weren't supposed to end up on the physical boarding pass and it was a coding error that made them appear on them, rather than intentional, and that all of the reminders to greet the new members etc should have been on the screen when the BP was scanned etc.

You're right though, OLCI and mobile BP definitely don't display these, and I haven't seen it from the SSCI either. Neither do I remember it being printed on BPs from anywhere other than LHR but I can't be sure about that one.
