It's very difficult to calculate 'forex fee' - I did a test with 6 Swedish credit cards - 1 claim to not have any 'fee'. This test was to buy as many B&N groupon as possible using all our credit cards. For a $10 groupon, the difference between all cards are minimal except one from SEB (they are known to rob people) that was a like 20 cents more. You have no clue in what forex fee they charge because even they tell you it's 1% you don't know what figure they use +1%.

I used DKB to draw cash in the US - it's fee free and they refunded my $3 fee which is more than the 'forex' fee they charge.

In Europe you can't expect to get/use CC like in the US. At most they give you first year free and nothing else. If you open a DKB account you can get LH miles.
