I MUCH prefer the suites in the Grand over the Regency. At the Regency, suite upgrades are merely another room - a lockout that can be used to 'upgrade' either adjoining room to a suite.
The suites at the Grand are actual suites; no lockouts. And I really like the Regency Club at the Grand Hyatt.

Both are located close to everything.
